COMMITMENT

As a publicly funded further education institution, vhs. bears a special social responsibility. The educational programs are committed to the idea of lifelong learning and serve the personal development and professional integration and qualification of vhs. customers. The vhs. program is aimed at all population groups. This requires special offers for educationally disadvantaged groups and individuals. The vhs. is politically and ideologically independent. As an e.V., it works according to economic principles, but is not profit-oriented.

OFFER AND QUALITY

The vhs. offers a comprehensive program in the areas of general and political education, culture, health, languages and vocational training. It is supplemented by offers with cooperation partners and is geared to the needs of the various target groups.

The work of the vhs. is based on recognized and verifiable quality criteria.

Staff and teachers regularly undergo further training.

The qualifications and certificates obtained at the vhs. meet national and European standards.
