Sindelfingen
Worth a visit
Schillerstraße, 71065 Sindelfingen
After the end of the First World War, there was a shortage of housing in Sindelfingen as more and more people came to work in the city. From 1919, a new development area was built in Schnödeneck, designed by Stuttgart architect Paul Schmitthenner in the so-called "Heimat(schutz)stil" style. It was mainly working-class families who lived here, mostly in semi-detached houses with large gardens.
