Music school | Odeon

The School for Music, Theater and Dance (SMTT) is an institution of the city of Sindelfingen and was founded in 1960. As one of around 1000 music schools in Germany, it works according to the structure and curriculum of the Association of German Music Schools (VdM). At present, around 1700 pupils are taught by around 45 teachers. The SMTT building was erected in 1986 and won an architectural award for its successful aesthetic and functional design. The round concert hall, the "ODEON", is particularly popular for external events and celebrations.
