Herrenwäldlesberg

Until the early 1970s, the so-called "Verlobungsbuckel" (engagement bump) was the meeting place for lovers. Here they could be undisturbed. Many wedding vows are also said to have been made on the hill in Sommerhofen Park. Nowadays, young lovers no longer have to meet in secluded corners of the park. This is why the Herrenwäldlesberg - the official name of the engagement hill - has been somewhat forgotten. Yet it's a wonderful place to take a stroll.
